10K Spindle-FX Series Standard on most Fadal VMC's, the 10K high torque spindle is rated for 12 kW, 10,000 rpm, 220+ ft.lbs of peak torque at 375 rpm and is designed for cutting hard materials including hardened steel and titanium while still having the high speed range to be a productive aluminum, wood, and plastics cutting machine. Combined with the stiffness of MAG Fadal box way construction and you have the optimum conditions necessary for vibration dampening that make the FX Series VMC an ideal small economical machine for these applications. An optional air/oil system is recommended for long cycle times. |

15K Spindle-FX Series The optional 15K high speed / high torque spindle is the optimum job shop spindle rated for 16.5 kW and delivering 155+ ft.lbs of torque at 750 rpm. It is a very flexible spindle capable of handling high speed machining of aluminum while at the same time being capable of cutting hardened steel due to it's low end torque. This air/oil spindle is preferred by job shop customers that demand high performance with the most flexibility.
