DID YOU KNOW? May 2008 - Class A Tooling held an Open House at their new facility. The owner Dave Burns and his wife Shelley have a great facility which is a showplace for Fadal Machines. Fadal VMCs at NASA's Jet Propolsion Labratory in Pasadena, California May 2008 - As you know Fadal has over 40,000 machines making parts all over the world. Some of the parts recently went to another world. NASA's Phoenix lander touched down on the surface of the planet Mars after making a 422 million mile flight from earth. The Phoenix survived a 12,700 mph descent to the atmosphere (and we thought John Force went fast!!). The lander will dig down into the surface of Mars looking for signs of life on Mars. Click for Larger Image THOUSANDS TOUR JFR INDIANAPOLIS SHOP INDIANAPOLIS (May 24, 2008) --- Thousands of race fans paraded through the John Force Racing East shop today during the 2nd annual Brownsburg Motorsports Network Open House. For over four hours people steadily walked through the doors and got to see first hand the tools of the trade that have garnered John Force fourteen POWERade Funny Car World Championships and his team 176 NHRA national event wins.   The tour led fans through the machine shop where they were able to see the numerous MAG Fadal machines that craft so many of Team Force’s components. They also saw the paint shop where eye-catching designs are applied to the four JFR Ford Mustangs. Three of Force’s 8,000 hp Ford Mustangs were on display arranged in a true race day configuration complete with open transports. Finally, the tour culminated for many fans with an emotional exit through The Eric Medlen Tribute Room.   The Eric Medlen Tribute Room is a room inside the shop that is dedicated to the six-time tour winner, remembering his life in photos, displays and testimonials. Special sections for the room are devoted to Eric as a calf-roping cowboy, to him and his dad and to him and the drivers with whom he had a special bond: J.R. Todd, Morgan Lucas, Brandon Bernstein and Ashley Force.   Members of John Force Racing staff were on-hand to show-off the world class racing facility and answer questions throughout the day. In addition to being impressed by the sheer number of race fans that toured the shop they were pleased with the responses the fans gave them as they wandered through the various areas.
