When most people think about CNC robotics, they picture a fixed robot in front of a machine, loading and unloading parts in place of a person.  In many cases, this can be a viable cost effective solution.
Robots can also be mounted on a rail essentially giving them mobility to travel to other machines.
A fixed robot can also be utilized in a multi-machine cell, loading and unloading 2, 3 and even 4 machines including machining centers, turning centers, grinders, inspection tables or whatever your application calls for.
If your particular application calls for it, multiple fixed robots can also be utilized to maximize efficiency so that machines are not staging, waiting on 1 robot.
