Fanuc Training (Basic, Advance; Operator & Programming)

Our Fanuc training classes are small and combine focused classroom study, discussion, testing and practical application methods on actual Fanuc controlled CNC’s in our Plano, Texas technical center.  To ensure students acquire and comprehend the information, they are provided written documentation and a test booklet.  Completed test booklets including the students scores and their acknowledgement of their understanding of the material is provided to the student and student’s employer upon completion of each course.

2 Day Fanuc Basic Machining Center Operation (Course Outline)

$

1000/Student

ADHOC (course can be administered within 5 business day’s of need). This course assumes you already know and understand basic CNC machining center functionality, perhaps from the experience of running a non-Fanuc CNC control like a Haas or Mazak.  We will show you how to apply your existing knowledge to a FANUC controlled machining center.  This course is not intended to teach you CNC from scratch and Non-CNC tasks are not addressed in this training.  We cover only what it takes to operate a FANUC CNC.

4 Day Fanuc Advanced M/C Programming, Set Up & Operation (Course Outline)

$

2000/Student

This course will cover CNC machining centers from the ground up. We will assume that you have little or no previous experience with CNC programming, setup and operation. However, there are certain things we do assume about students taking this course. Basic Machining Experience Required  We will assume that you have at least some experience with basic machining practices and principles. We will assume you possess basic knowledge of machining operations like rough and finish machining, drilling, tapping, rough and finish boring, and pocketing. We will also assume that you understand tooling and related cutting conditions required to perform operations safely and efficiently. If you have experience with any form of conventional machining equipment, like a manual mill, we think you will find it remarkably easy to learn how to program, setup, and operate a CNC machining center.  If you have no previous machining practice experience, we strongly recommend that you enroll in a course related to basic machining practice prior to taking this course.

2 Day Fanuc Manual Guide i Programming (Course Outline)

FANUC’s MANUAL GUIDE i is a programming operation guidance function that simplies the creation of machining programs.  MANUAL GUIDE i conversational programming is fast and efficient programming for milling, turning and mill- turn centers equipped with FANUC CNCs.  Without particular knowledge of G-code programming, this course will teach you to create part programs with Fanuc’s Manual Guide i user-friendly software just by answering simple questions. This innovative programming enables development from a drawing to a production part in a very short time – producing highly efficient results even for complex parts.  We’ll show you everything from selecting fixed forms, tool selection, cutting speeds and feed rates for various materials.  We will create a program and execute the program on an actual machining and turning center.
