PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE DAILY CHECKS
The success of any effective preventative maintenance program are the daily checks. Doing a few minor checks at the start
and end of each day or shift can help catch a minor issue before it becomes a major problem. We recommend the following
daily maintenance checks:
•
Check all those fluids and fluid levels such as such as lube, hydraulic fluid and chiller fluid levels. Excessive fluid use (or
too little) can be a sign of a problem.
•
Check for rust or dry spots where it should be greasy; hit all grease points with a couple of shots.
•
Check your coolant using a refractometer to determine proper concentration to avoid corrosive damage
•
Blow chips off of moving parts like way covers and door glides to reduce the chance of seal, wiper, and bearing damage.
